2017 NYC Brehon Law/KRW Law Summer Fellowship:

  • Applications are now being accepted for current law students to apply for the KRW Law 2017 Summer Legal Fellowship. One student will be chosen to work at KRW Law, a human rights firm in Belfast, for three months. The fellow will be awarded a stipend (1000 pounds sterling per month) and round trip airfare. The program is sponsored by the NYC Brehon Law Society in conjunction with KRW Law LLP.
  • The Fellow’s internship duties will include reviewing and reporting on current developments in KRW Law’s Legacy Litigation Department; communicating with Brehon members, Congressional members, and U.S. NGOs; involvement in Legacy Media Project Management; collating a database of U.S. and foreign legal and human rights contacts; legal research; litigation observation; meetings with human rights organizations; assisting in the development of press releases and web postings for Brehon members and media outlets; document review; and drafting memos for supervising attorneys, among other tasks.
  • Applicants should have a strong interest in human rights and activism.
